Teresa was born in New York in June of
1960. Shortly after her birth, she and her family moved to the suburbs
of New Jersey.
As a child, Teresa was drawn to the
physical world - she was either tumbling in gymnastics, pirouetting in
ballet or painting and sculpting in art class. At home, Teresa could be
found taking apart numerous alarm clocks and anything else that was screwed
together to see how it worked. Sometimes they still worked after being
reconstructed but her talent and interest in crafts were where she excelled.
Teresa has always been a free thinker, discovering early that everything
can be made better with a bright idea and some paint and brushes. In her
twenties, Teresa's independent spirit brought her to Colorado and then
New Hampshire which gave her the opportunity to nurture her creativity.
In 1993 Teresa discovered that Stained Glass was the ultimate medium for
her. Over the past ten years or so, she has become an accomplished, award
winning Stained Glass artist.
After the loss of her own cat, Wicker, she transformed her sorrow into
art by creating urns. She now dedicates herself to her company, Glass Dream Source where she can share her respect for animals and her unique talent
with other animal lovers.
(Teresa continues to explore the possibilities of glass in Lampworking
and glass sculpture.)
